GivingBack

Giving Back

We greatly appreciate the support of our community partners and donors. We also value the importance of giving back and are committed to supporting the community that supports us.

Below are some examples of how we give back

Our PathFinder staff, volunteers and trainees create websites for no charge to help local individuals with disabilities and nonprofits (see, e.g. Paige's Pantry). Our trainees also donate their time to support efforts to clean up our local natural resources such as lagoon or beach clean-ups.

Our Explorer staff and trainees volunteer weekly at local nonprofits such as Paige's Pantry, St. Peter's Thrift Store, local Humane Societies and also donate their time to help clean up local resources such as our waterways and lagoons.

Some of our Board members volunteer over 40 hours a week to support the Beacons nonprofit so that more funding and resources can be dedicated to the programs and those we serve. During Covid-19 stay-at-home orders, our volunteers spent countless hours to make sure that our programs continued uninterrupted and provided free social online activities to anyone in need to help reduce isolation despite their own families' needs. Our volunteers also delivered community "cheer-grams" during shutdowns to individuals isolated at home to let them know they were loved and appreciated.

These are but just a few of the examples of the Beacons commitment to giving back! If you have a nonprofit that could use some help, please let us know! info@BeaconsNorthCounty.com
