CANCELLATIONS
What if I decide not to go or can't go?
Participants who have rsvp'd for an event must cancel by 6 pm the Thursday before the event to avoid incurring a late cancellation fee of $5.00. Cancellation deadlines are posted with the event dates. Please send cancellations to: Club@BeaconsNorthCounty.com
Refund Policy:
If you have prepaid and need to cancel, we ask that you cancel by 6 pm the Thursday before the Club event to avoid the $5 late cancellation fee.
Refunds will not be provided if a participant has to leave a Club session because of unsafe behaviors or behaviors that interfere with the enjoyment of others attending.
Late Cancellations & No-shows:
•A $5.00 late fee will be charged for cancellations after 6 pm the Thursday before an event.
If a person rsvp'd, but fails to attend an event or cancel, they will be invoiced for a $5 no-show/late cancellation fee. Beacons purchases food and recruits volunteers to facilitate Club events so this policy is to deter people from signing up and not attending.
• No-Shows
Those who fail to appear at an event will be charged a $5.00 no-show fee and also be required to pre-pay to attend future events.
Facilitation Ratio (5:1):
Club Beacons is designed to facilitate and introduce social activities for persons with mild/moderate intellectual disabilities using staffing ratios of 5:1 or larger.
Individuals who require smaller ratio support, and/or who have medical or other issues that need a smaller ratio or ratio of 1:1 to monitor or assist the participant may not be dropped off without a personal care attendant/respite worker/caregiver.
Maladaptive Behaviors: Beacons reserves the right to refuse entry to individuals who have shown history of maladaptive behaviors (elopement, disruptive or aggressive behaviors, self injurious behaviors, behaviors that are likely to injure others) at Club Beacons, outside of Club or who have been convicted of a felony. Any questions, please contact Club directly.
If a person intentionally causes injury to self or others or property, or exhibits behaviors or conduct which are likely to injure self or others or property, the person will need to be removed from the premises immediately.
